Women’s Retreat Information

Retreat Speaker: As a Retreat Speaker, Sue has a passion to share who God is with whoever comes her way. For her, intentional hospitality for the sake of Jesus is a joy and a privilege, and she believes it can be learned! Sue has a deep desire to encourage other women to find the reality and joy of knowing God through His Word in their everyday lives. She was raised in Southern California by two wonderful Christian parents. She graduated from Master’s College in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Literature and earned a Masters of Arts in Human Resource Development from Azusa Pacific College. A self-confessed “late-bloomer,” She led a full single life as a high school teacher and as a missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators, including two years in Brazil and six months in Papua New Guinea before she was married. God used these experiences to develop her love for Him and for people who needed to know Him personally. She and her husband, Mark, reside in San Luis Obispo, CA, with their three daughters, Bonnie Sue, Bethany and their “surprise” treat at almost age 44, Mary Grace. Features Linens are provided (pool towels too)! Room Set-up: 2 queens (2-4 per room) 1 king and 1 pull out (2-3 per room) Mothers with nursing infants welcome! Cost for retreat: 4 per room - $175 per person 3 per room - $200 per person 2 per room - $225 per person (Minimum of $75.00 deposit must be paid by 9-10-10 for all room types.)
